Aleksandar Krajinović’s paintings focus on memory, distance, desire, and shifting relationships between bodies, space, and time. The paintings use resin and pigment on raw cotton canvas, often in large formats, and are paired with poetic text fragments that reinforce themes of fragmentation, closeness, separation, and transformation. Recurrent motifs include movement, silence, horizons, veils, creeks, and splits, suggesting a tense balance between intimacy, identity and painting.
